Nathan is a psycho-analyst, Liz his patient. In deeply troubled relationships with Melanie and Charles, they fall in love.

For Nathan to succumb would be against professional ethics but Liz is a determined seductress. In his desperation he seeks the help of Peter, his supervisor, and Lynn his own therapist.

Will Nathan resist Liz's blandishments or will he sign his own professional death warrant?
