Christmas Presence

Robert, a doctor who has had a brief, passionate affair with Ruth, his receptionist, and is recovering from recent heart surgery, is confronted by his daughter, Samantha, late on Christmas Eve, about the affair and its subsequent effect on her parents' marriage.

Christmas Presence was first read at awl in January 2003 and is presented here, extended to 25 minutes, prior to being produced in the All-England One-Act Drama Festival 2005.
