Denys Graham trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.

He has extensive theatre credits, including two years with Sir John Gielgud's Company at the Phoenix Theatre followed by a season at Stratford-upon-Avon.

He played in the original production of Under Milk Wood at the then New Theatre and has appeared in many other productions of it on radio and television.

Before entering RADA, Denys gained an MA in Chemistry and Mathematics at New College, Oxford.

He is also a singer and pianist.

Denys played the role of Bill Morris, the convenor of the car factory, in On the Line, a 13 part series for Central Television.

Aside from his many appearances in television plays, he has been in series as diverse as Dixon of Dock Green, Woof, The Manageress and The Gift and has worked with a host of established personalities including Ronnie Barker, Spike Milligan and Frankie Howerd.

Numerous film appearances include The Dam Busters, Dunkirk, Modesty Blaise and Zulu. He played the Kaiser in the remake of All Quiet on the Western Front.

Denys won the BBC Prize while at RADA and worked for John Tydeman, R D Smith, John Gibson, Donald McWhinnie, Audrey Cameron, Douglas Cleverdon and Dickon Reed. He has also played a number of leading roles on the BBC World Service.
