Hayward Morse won a scholarship to RADA, where he was awarded the Silver Medal. Other awards include the Arthur Wontner Prize for Voice.

Theatre work includes many roles in London's West End (where he made his debut in the original production of Orton's What the Butler Saw with Sir Ralph Richardson), on Broadway and throughout the UK, Europe (The English Theatre of Hamburg) and North America.
