Jeryl Burgess trained as a mature actress with the Actors Company at the London Centre for Theatre Studies. A linguist by original training, she speaks fluent French, good Spanish, Russian, and has some knowledge of German and Italian. Since graduating in 2007 she has appeared on stage in Manchester and London in a range of roles from Shakespeare to new writing, via Wilde and Lorca. She also toured Ireland and the UK as Mercy Lott in London Classic Theatre's very successful production of Humble Boy. Jeryl is a keen historical dancer and has appeared with Baroque and Roll and Nonsuch.
