Kennedy: The Thousand Days

Music by Richard Storry

The story of John F Kennedy's presidency in terms of his family relationships, the Cuban Missile Crisis, and his interaction with Martin Luther King. Showcased at The Jermyn Street Theatre in November 1999. Full production with five piece orchestra and synthesised music,
performed at Hampton Hill Playhouse in June 2002.

Three RUTAC Drama Award Nominations

A full length, medium sized production, in a minimal set.  
Cast of four principals and ten other players.


Soixante-Neuf

A sprightly bachelor of sixty nine years, is able to "accommodate" a brilliant
young female writer, who has been emotionally bruised by her earlier friendships.
Her sprightly mother is not amused. At first.  Performed to full houses at the Studio Theatre,
Hampton Hill Playhouse in February 2002.

A full length, single set, three hander, in two acts.

A streetwise and womanising Londoner is host to his two long standing friends from Europe - a wealthy, wife savaged but still frisky German, and an irascible, opinionated and aromatic restaurant owner from Paris. Apart from having sex, Formula 1 racing, football and drinking in common, they discover another mutual interest, in the form of the host's cleaning lady's
daughter - an attractive and talented investment banker. Another Treaty of Versailles?

A full length, single set, five hander, in two acts.

Thicker than Water

A highly dynamic, and monetarily successful business woman, is appalled by
her university educated daughter's wayward lifestyle and seeming collapse
into drugs. In imprisoning her daughter at home to detox her, the mother
finds herself imprisoned and is forced to confront her own failings.

Dog Days

In the magical world of Windsor Forest an outlaw dog releases a group of strays from a nearby dogs home, so they can be induced into the magic of Dog Days, the period when Canius Major is in an eclipse with the moon. For a month the strays can converse with humans about returning to society, but emotions become involved and identities confused. The arrival of an old soldier brings a sense of controlled freedom and discipline into the lives of the dogs, and the humans, and life moves hopefully forward.

When Alex was orphaned, she was adopted by Nick's parents.  As impoverished kids,
Nick and Alex shared everything, including the same bed. Twenty five years later, when Nick's life explodes, Alex is his port in the storm. Things change, for the worse, for the better,
and for ever.
