Penny Culliford is the author of the Theodora books - Theodora’s Diary, Theodora’s Wedding and Theodora’s Baby.

Penny also writes children's poems, one of which appears in an anthology of poetry for children, On a Camel to the Moon, also published in September 2001.

She regularly provides a Thought for the Day on BBC Radio Kent and contributes to Challenge magazine.

Her latest book is The Art of Standing Still, Zondervan March 2007 (Jan 2007 in the US) is now available.

Penny began writing several years ago, and following the success in a playwriting competition of a short play about four amoebas, decided to launch her literary career. Now she writes novels, scripts and children’s poems.

Auld Lang Syne, came second in awl's "An Unexpected Visitor" competition in December 2007.

Penny's short play, Qualis came third in awl's "Another Fine Mess" competition in July 2007.
Start Me Up
Away in a Minger, was a runner-up in the awl "Last Christmas" competition in December 2006.
